AT&T aims to keep Americans on their side during the COVID-19 crisis


AT&T has implemented a number of new policies, including the rapid response of coronaviruses and the FCC's Keep American Connected Pledge. With a growing number of customers and learning from home, these programs help AT&T customers create a consistent online environment in their homes.

AT&T assistance to residential and small business customers


To help users who are suffering from coronavirus, AT&T:


Late payment by 5/13/20.
Temporarily upgrades all plans to unlimited data (including AT&T customers with fixed wireless service). By 5/13/20.
Opening six new command centers to increase customer support and bandwidth demand.


AT&T help parents, teachers and students


To help all those who are studying from home or are suffering from school closures, AT&T has:

A fund for distance learning and family connections was created to support online learning resources.
Khan has donated 1 million to the Academy to enhance online learning tools.

AT&T refund for sports package

AT&T has also addressed delays in several sports sessions with regard to adding sports packages that customers can purchase. Read on to see AT&T policies for each.

NBA League Pass, NHL Center Ice & MLS Direct Kick Refund or Credit


The NBA, NHL and MLS games are suspended for 30 days, but their seasons have not been officially canceled. AT&T monitors the situation and reviews refunds or credits when appropriate.

MLB refunds extra innings


MLB has currently delayed the start of the 2020 season by at least two weeks. AT&T adjusts the cancellation period based on the new start date.
